Key information
Forza Horizon 6 is officially scheduled to launch on PlayStation 5 on January 26. This release will coincide with the debut of the title's first major expansion, although specific content details for that add-on remain undisclosed.
Players opting to pre-order the Premium Edition on the platform will receive five days of early access. Additionally, all pre-orders for any version of the game on the console include a pre-tuned Ferrari J50 as a bonus incentive.
IGN awarded the title a 10/10 score, highlighting its dense map, technical accomplishments, and well-paced campaign. The review describes the game as a masterpiece and the new standard for open-world racing, noting it surpasses previous entries in the series.
The release date follows speculation that the game might miss its initial 2026 window for the platform. By launching in January, the title avoids the release period of GTA 6, which is expected to help it secure a strong audience following the success of its predecessor on the console.
