Square Enix has unveiled a new gameplay feature for Final Fantasy 7 Revelation involving hot springs scattered across the world map. These locations allow the party to relax, engage in unique character conversations, and earn a permanent increase to their maximum HP.
Beyond the health benefits, these segments introduce new bathing suit skins for party members. Gameplay footage confirms that Cloud, Barret, and Cid will receive unlockable outfits. While Red XIII can participate in the bathing activities, his appearance remains largely unchanged, and Vincent Valentine continues to wear his standard combat attire during these scenes.
Director Naoki Hamaguchi noted that these events provide glimpses into the characters' daily lives. The developer has been actively sharing details ahead of the game's release, including features like an optional automatic leveling system to bypass grinding and an estimated playtime exceeding 100 hours for the main story.
Final Fantasy 7 Revelation is scheduled to launch on April 8, 2027. The title will be available on PC, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S, serving as the final chapter in the remake trilogy.
