Following the completed acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery by Paramount, former Activision CEO Bobby Kotick is joining David Ellison's board of directors at Skydance.

The Hollywood Reporter verified Kotick's inclusion on the 13-member board through an SEC filing. The board also features philanthropist Laurene Powell Jobs and entertainment figures such as Gerry Cardinale, Sherry Lansing, and Ynon Kreiz, alongside former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair as a board advisor.

David Ellison praised Kotick for guiding a global entertainment corporation through decades of expansion, noting his experience with franchise building and strategic capital allocation.

Kotick previously led Activision for 32 years, overseeing its growth into a major video game publisher before stepping down after Microsoft finalized its acquisition of Activision-Blizzard-King.
