Developed by Sloclap, the French studio behind Sifu, Rematch is an arcade football game focused entirely on online multiplayer gameplay. Unlike EA Sports FC, players do not control an entire team, but rather a single player on the field.
The main format features five-versus-five matches, alongside a 3x3 mode, utilizing a third-person camera positioned behind the character. The gameplay requires teamwork through running, defending, requesting the ball, and providing cover for teammates.
Matches are fast-paced with virtually no intervals and simplified rules. Players can contribute significantly without scoring a single goal by applying effective pressure, intercepting passes, defending, or offering passing options.
Rematch is available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. On the PlayStation Store for PS5, the game is currently on sale for R$ 67,96 instead of R$ 169,90, marking a 60% discount available until October 8.
