EmberQuest is an upcoming MMORPG developed by the sole developer of Faded Scroll Games. Billed as a "cozy lite MMO" on its Steam page and in a Reddit introductory post, the title combines sandbox elements with an approachable experience.
The game features questing, tradeskills, PvE activities, world bosses, and open-world PvP zones and events. It includes four classes utilizing physics-driven active combat focused on positioning, deflecting, and pushing. To foster a small-town atmosphere where players can become recognized, server sizes are capped at a maximum of 100 players.
EmberQuest is scheduled to launch on Steam as a free-to-play title on Thursday, October 15th. It will offer an optional subscription providing perks such as bank sorting and filtering, additional action bar and bank space, and spin tokens earned via quests for random cosmetics. The game previously existed as a blockchain title, though those features appear to be removed from the Steam version.
