Key information

Grand Theft Auto 6 will grant players the freedom to rob nearly any location they encounter. Rockstar North director Rob Nelson confirmed in an interview with IGN that the game shifts away from the structured, mission-based heists seen in GTA 5.

Players can now execute robberies spontaneously without complex planning or large teams. Whether targeting a small retail shop or a major financial institution like a bank, crimes can occur naturally while exploring the map of Leonida.

These quick heists serve as a vital method for earning money. Players may choose to perform these actions solo or utilize both protagonists, Jason and Lucia, simultaneously to capitalize on unexpected opportunities that arise during gameplay.

Regarding the game world, Nelson noted that cities will not evolve or grow over time as they did in Red Dead Redemption 2. However, he emphasized that the environment remains vibrant, filled with sudden events and dynamic interactions.
