Key information
Riot Games has confirmed that the free-to-play fighting game 2XKO will soon cease receiving new content updates. Before this support concludes, the game will add two final characters to its roster on October 27.
The two new additions are Samira and Sett. While Samira was previously expected, Sett serves as an unannounced surprise for the community. Riot Games released a new trailer showcasing both fighters, noting that developers worked quickly to finalize Sett for this release.
Riot describes Sett as a prominent figure in Ionian criminal circles, while Samira is characterized as a reckless stylist capable of dangerous missions. These characters join the League of Legends-based roster, which features team-based combat mechanics.
Although updates are ending, the servers will remain open for players. Following reports that the game did not meet performance expectations, Riot previously adjusted the economic model to unlock all characters and allow items to be earned through gameplay. The title remains available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC.
