Key information

Electronic Arts is giving a nod to the Dead Space franchise in an upcoming trailer for Battlefield 6. Although the sci-fi survival-horror series remains on hold due to poor sales following the acclaimed 2023 remake, the publisher has included teasers for a limited-time Halloween event featuring the iconic Markers.

The latest trailer showcases maps such as the Las Vegas Strip and Area 51, alongside updates like six weapons, two vehicles, and a fast-paced Battle Royale mode named Rapid Royale. The final shot reveals soldiers in Isaac Clarke-inspired armor alongside a double-helix Marker.

Data miners previously uncovered details indicating that the crossover will feature a PvE Rush-style mode at Area 51. Players are expected to battle waves of Marked Soldiers while destroying Marker Shrines, supported by datamined RIG suit skins and themed weapons.

Battlefield 6 is currently accessible on PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and Xbox Series X, with season 5 launching on Oct. 13. Previous franchise entries have also referenced the sci-fi property, and the Motive team assisted with development after completing the 2023 remake.
