The Spanish Association of Video Games (AEVI) has released sales data for week 40 of 2026, covering the period from September 28 to October 4. The report, compiled by GSD, highlights the market performance across both physical retail and combined digital-physical channels.
EA Sports FC 27 has emerged as the clear market leader, securing the top spot in both categories. The football simulator achieved 27,849 units in physical sales and reached a total of 65,589 units when including digital transactions, significantly outpacing all other competitors.
The combined sales rankings revealed notable activity for older titles. Mirror's Edge Catalyst, an action-platformer originally released in 2016, secured second place with 6,191 units. Additionally, Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, which debuted in 2022, claimed the third position with 3,629 units sold.
In contrast, the physical-only chart features different top performers. Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter took second place with 2,625 units, followed by Lies of P, which recorded 2,376 units sold during the same weekly timeframe.
