Series producer Motoi Okamoto expressed relief that the initial wave of titles successfully launched to critical acclaim. During a recent interview with Famitsu, Okamoto confirmed that the development team intends to expand the franchise further rather than concluding their work.
Okamoto stated that the team is currently shifting its focus toward the future of the series. He noted that they are actively considering potential projects for a second and third wave of content, though specific details regarding these upcoming titles remain undisclosed.
Konami has not yet provided a timeline for these future developments. The producer emphasized that the company is committed to the long-term continuation of the Silent Hill brand following the positive reception of its recent entries.
