Key information

World of Warcraft: Forever is positioned as a new MMO that will expand on Vanilla WoW with various fresh quests, areas, and features, which are planned to be improved progressively through updates, differing from the traditional Classic experience.

According to a recent Battle.net survey reported via Gamespot and discussed by content creator Bellular, Blizzard has asked selected World of Warcraft players which new classes they would like to see added to WoW Forever.

The survey presented eleven suggestions, including necromancers, bards, and witches, which are classes currently absent from modern World of Warcraft. Should Blizzard introduce a brand-new class based on these findings, it would be exclusive to WoW Forever rather than modern WoW, with gameplay likely following older standards.

While the survey does not guarantee that any of these theoretical classes will actually be implemented, the Vanilla MMO version is expected to focus heavily on horizontal progression, maintaining a level cap of 60 while expanding content and abilities laterally.
