The cozy multiplayer Halloween title Ghost Town Pumpkin Festival has officially returned online for the 2026 season. Players can once again utilize various tools to carve digital pumpkins, participate in an online festival displaying creative jack o' lanterns, and experience spooky attractions.

Solo developer Adam Gryu implemented several under-the-hood technical improvements detailed in the patch notes. The title now runs on a newer version of Unity, utilizes an updated backend server supporting increased user capacity, includes a motion sickness setting, and features various minor updates.

Multiplayer availability remains limited, functioning exclusively throughout the month of October. The release is completely free to play, though an optional $2 fee is available for players wanting to equip hats on their ghost avatars.
