Key information

The legendary Counter-Strike map Dust 2 has been meticulously recreated as a racing circuit for the 1999 title Re-Volt. This classic racing game, developed by Acclaim, features remote-controlled cars and allows players to disrupt opponents using firecrackers.

The project was showcased by user 601 KBITE through videos on YouTube and Instagram. The track design captures the essence of the original map, guiding racers through key areas, although it notably excludes the underground passage.

Regarding availability, the creator stated that the map is not currently downloadable. The developer is still addressing technical issues concerning the AI and the racing line before considering a public release.

While Re-Volt is largely considered a forgotten title, it maintains a dedicated fan base. This specific recreation stands out as one of the most promising attempts to bring the iconic Counter-Strike environment into the RC racing genre.
