Key information
Monster Hunter World, Capcom's best-selling game in history, features an enormous amount of content nearly a decade after its release, but its official cooperative mode has long been criticized for awkward ergonomics.
Previously, the main campaign's multiplayer system required players to individually launch quests, hunt monsters solo, watch introductory cutscenes, and then leave or use a distress flare before grouping.
To solve this frustration, a modder named huntardy developed the Seamless Co-op mod, which bypasses original restrictions to let players stay together from start to finish.
The modification enables a session's members to progress through the campaign naturally and watch introductory cutscenes together without dissolving the team, though it is exclusively available for the PC version.
