Key information
CD Projekt acknowledges that the launch of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Remastered was not perfect, as players have pointed out minor technical issues and visual changes that clash with the 2015 game's aesthetic. A first patch is already available across all platforms, and the developer has outlined a plan to address further issues over the coming weeks.
Based on community feedback shared on X, CD Projekt has grouped its resources into six key areas. The planned updates include performance improvements particularly on PS5, fixes for My Rewards and Twitch Drops, Ukrainian localization for PS5 and Xbox Series in other regions, and console voice audio corrections.
Additionally, the studio is working with mod.io to bring community-designed mods to PS5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch 2, expanding a feature previously restricted to PC. The team will continue monitoring reception and applying fixes in the upcoming weeks.
Despite the need for polish, the community has embraced the fantasy RPG, enabling The Witcher 3 to break concurrent player records not seen since the premiere of Netflix's The Witcher Season 1 in 2020.
