Key information

MicroProse Software released the satirical city-building simulation Car Park Capital into Steam Early Access on October 9, 2026. Developed by Hilkojj Interactive, the title is currently available for 2160 yen, reflecting a 10 percent launch discount.

Players assume the role of a manager hired by the automotive industry to transform walkable urban areas into car-dependent environments. The core gameplay involves purchasing residential properties to displace citizens, clearing land for parking facilities, and generating revenue through parking fees while promoting vehicle ownership.

The game features 3D construction tools for building multi-level parking structures. Players can further increase car dependency by expanding into oil extraction or fast-food production. Managing citizen dissatisfaction is also required, utilizing unconventional methods like deploying Ferris wheels to bypass traffic jams or dispatching riot police to suppress anti-car protests.

At launch, the game includes three scenarios set in a city, the Giza Pyramids, and Florida. The developers plan to remain in early access for approximately 10 months, targeting a full release in the summer of 2027.
