Bandai Namco has opened pre-orders for a new line of Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair merchandise via Premium Bandai. The collection features boxers modeled after those worn by Hajime Hinata and Nagito Komaeda, alongside Monokuma and Monomi themed headbands.
The boxers are designed to be canonically accurate to the characters' in-game attire, though the elastic bands feature character names for fans. Unlike the game mechanics, acquiring these items does not require players to reach maximum affection levels with the characters.
Additional items include an acrylic logo display priced at 3,850 yen, which plays thirty seconds of the opening theme song upon activation. The headbands, priced at 3,520 JPY, are intended for practical use or aesthetic appeal.
All items are scheduled for release in February 2027. Premium Bandai does not provide international shipping, requiring customers outside of Japan to utilize proxy services. Pricing for the boxers is set at 3,960 JPY per pair.
