Key information

Blizzard has officially released the Curse of Ulathek update for World of Warcraft: The Darkest Night. This major content expansion introduces a new single-boss raid, large-scale outdoor events, and the game's inaugural mega-delve experience.

The update centers on the return of the ancient enemy General K'thir of the K'thirashi, who has emerged following the defeat of Ulathek. Players are tasked with entering a newly unsealed chamber beneath the Toxic Abyss to confront this threat in a raid available in Story, Normal, Heroic, and Flexible Mythic difficulties.

A new mega-delve takes place within the ancient Amani tomb, where players join the companion Valeera to combat looters and trolls. This feature includes a unique progression system, allowing participants to unlock powerful abilities and earn rewards such as legendary gear.

Additionally, the update adds a regional public event in Eversong Woods or Zul'Aman. Every hour, players have a ten-minute window to complete a series of challenges culminating in a boss encounter. Furthermore, Mythic Keystone returns, offering rewards for top players who achieve a score of 3,600.
