Key information

Pearl Abyss has implemented a significant update for the PC version of Black Desert, aiming to streamline the progression experience. The developer noted that previous leveling requirements became excessively steep at higher tiers, prompting a rework designed to offer clearer milestones and a more rewarding sense of accomplishment for players.

The core change involves raising the maximum character level from 70 to 75. While experience point accumulation ceases at level 75, the update introduces various adjustments to XP gain rates across multiple vectors. Additionally, the user interface has been simplified to provide clearer data regarding experience earnings within specific monster zones.

Beyond leveling adjustments, the patch introduces a common skill for all classes, concludes the current guild league season, and refines quests located in Inner Edania. The game is also hosting community events, including a forum-based costume party and a thematic fashion show set for October 16th.

In separate news for Black Desert Mobile, the Frost Highlands area has been removed. Developers cited that players were consistently reaching sufficient combat power to bypass this region while progressing toward the Mountain of Eternal Winter. The mobile patch also includes class tweaks and the removal of erroneous relics.
