Electronic Arts has announced that Season 5 of Battlefield 6 is scheduled to launch on October 13. The upcoming content update will feature a Las Vegas setting, as showcased in the latest gameplay trailer.
The season introduces a variety of gameplay additions, including three new maps and two reworked maps. Players will also gain access to six new weapons and two additional vehicles to utilize in combat.
Technical and social features are also expanding with the inclusion of a server browser and the return of platoons. These additions aim to improve community organization and match accessibility for the player base.
Competitive and seasonal events round out the update, featuring a new Rapid Royale ranked battle royale mode and an open series. Additionally, a special Operation Halloween event is planned for the season.
