Key information

EA and Dice have unveiled a non-canon Dead Space crossover event for Battlefield 6, scheduled to coincide with the Halloween season. The collaboration features Necromorphs appearing within an Area 51 setting, utilizing assets directly sourced from the Dead Space remake.

The event narrative centers on the faction Pax Armata, which seeks secret technology concealed beneath Area 51. Players can participate in this limited-time experience starting October 20, with the opportunity to earn unique cosmetic rewards until the event concludes on November 7.

This event arrives alongside the launch of Season 5 on October 13, which introduces new content including the Rapid Royale mode. This battle royale variant features faster gameplay where players earn currency through kills to fund respawns.

General manager Patrick Klaus noted that the studio is expanding the game with new Las Vegas-themed maps, the introduction of Platoons, and a Server Browser. Additional map rotations are planned, including the European Casino on November 10 and a snowy environment update on December 8.
