Key information
On October 9, 2026, at the Kaohsiung International Animation Festival, Ching Win Publishing hosted the first overseas autograph session for author Hachihachi, creator of the BL novel The Saint's Magic Power is Omnipotent spin-off, The Treatment of Another World Depends on the Corporate Slave. Taiwan serves as the first international market for the series.
The narrative follows Seiichiro Kondo, a corporate slave who maintains his work-oriented nature after being transported to a magical realm. This trait facilitates his connection with the knight commander, Aresh. Hachihachi noted that she aimed to explore the dynamic between a corporate employee and a knight commander. During the event, she revealed that Seiichiro holds the title of Assistant Section Chief in this world.
Regarding character development, Hachihachi explained that Seiichiro initially ignored Aresh's advances due to survival concerns. However, after living together, Seiichiro grew fond of Aresh's childlike qualities. Despite internal conflicts regarding their status and his potential return home, Seiichiro eventually embraced the relationship after witnessing Aresh's sincerity.
To celebrate the digital release of volume 4, Ching Win is holding a lottery for 10 signed copies. Fans purchasing the e-book on designated platforms between October 9 and October 30, 2026, may register for the draw, with winners announced in late November 2026.
