Key information
Developer Hypergryph and global publisher Gryphline announced that Arknights: Endfield will launch on PC via Steam on October 15. The release coincides with the deployment of a major free content update titled 'Sanctuary of Ink' across all platforms. The Steam version will include cross-platform progression, enabling existing players to continue their adventures on Talos-II, and the game is currently available to wishlist.
The 'Sanctuary of Ink' update introduces a new story chapter taking Endministrators inside Si's Painting, a landscape created by the Feranmut Proxy Si at Yuanyuan Manor Inn. Players will use Si's 'Miracle Brush' to restore broken paths and bridges, encounter living ink creatures, and explore a connection stretching back a decade. The update also adds two playable Operators, Si and Argent Flow, who will become available through successive recruitment events.
In addition to new characters and combat challenges, the update features the return of Contingency Contract with Indigo Experimental Operation, introducing selectable modifiers and tactical restrictions. Players can also manage a countryside inn in Yuanyuan's Blazing Stoves by growing crops, raising animals, and serving visiting guests. Furthermore, the update brings various player-experience improvements, including saved equipment loadouts, precise mouse targeting, and direct placement of field equipment from depot storage.
