Embark Studios has launched a temporary free access period for ARC Raiders across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam. This trial remains available until October 12, allowing players to experience the title without requiring active PlayStation Plus or Xbox Game Pass subscriptions.
The promotion coincides with the release of Frozen Trail, described as the game's largest content update to date. This expansion introduces a new map, additional enemy types, weapon improvements, and adjustments to character abilities.
Following the update, player engagement has surged significantly. On Steam, concurrent player counts rose from previous daily averages to approximately 130,000 users, marking the highest participation levels observed in six months.
Beyond the free trial, the developer has implemented a 50% discount on the base and Deluxe editions. This pricing reduction concludes on October 15 for Xbox and Steam users, while PlayStation 5 owners have until October 21 to utilize the offer.
