Key information
The Empathetic Prototypes quest in Arc Raiders challenges players to perform a complex infiltration at the Spaceport Trench. To succeed, players must reach the Trench Towers, disable a magnetic lock on a cargo crate, search the container, and deliver the Project Pathos Empathy Core to Lance.
Success relies heavily on the use of a grappling hook to navigate the vertical environment. Players are advised to bring an augment featuring a safe pocket to secure the Empathy Core, as failing to extract with the item necessitates restarting the entire mission.
To begin, players must ascend the North Trench Tower by grappling to the roof. After entering the structure and descending the stairs, they must grapple through windows to reach the exterior. From this position, players must drop onto a crate suspended by an arm, potentially requiring precise swinging or rapid interaction to secure a hold.
Because grappling hooks are available in limited quantities each week, players should store them in a safe pocket until needed. This preparation is essential for navigating the tower's exterior and completing the objective efficiently.
