NEXON has signed a partnership agreement with Chernin Entertainment to adapt the games ARC Raiders and The Finals into television series and movies.

Both titles were developed by Embark Studios, a subsidiary of NEXON. ARC Raiders is a PvPvE survival action game, while The Finals is a team-based action FPS game, and both games have already been released.

Chernin Entertainment, known for producing films such as Planet of the Apes, The Greatest Showman, Hidden Figures, and The Backrooms, will oversee the adaptations. Patrick Söderlund, NEXON executive chairman and founder and CEO of Embark Studios, stated that the agreement marks an important step toward creating deeply integrated cross-media experiences for global players, with Embark's creative team working closely alongside Chernin.

David Ready, president of film at Chernin Entertainment, noted that both properties represent ambitious global intellectual properties with the potential to expand into major film and television franchises based on their stunning visual design and atmospheric worlds.
