Key information
Publisher Team17 and developer Saltitude have unveiled Little Prince Tyger, a new 2D action roguelike. The title is scheduled for a 2027 release exclusively on PC via Steam.
The game features a detailed pixel art style reminiscent of Animal Well, though it distinguishes itself with a significantly more violent and gory aesthetic. Players navigate a horrific world filled with dangerous wildlife and environments.
Gameplay involves side-scrolling action-platforming where players control a swift, agile archer. Combat requires precise dodging and archery skills to defeat grotesque enemies, including giant birds and deformed creatures, while traversing forests and caverns.
Saltitude intends to utilize a roguelike structure to ensure high replayability despite the inevitable deaths caused by numerous traps and enemy swarms. Fans will need to wait until 2027 to experience the game.
