Key information
Gamers tracking upcoming releases can look forward to several notable titles launching during the week of October 5 to October 11, 2026. This period brings a diverse mix of mobile adaptations, open-world massively multiplayer online role-playing games, prequels, and racing titles.
The schedule features Mabinogi Mobile, an online role-playing game inheriting the world of the 2005 PC game Mabinogi. It features reconstructed storytelling, an art style optimized for mobile devices, and lifestyle elements like cooking, fishing, and camping alongside combat. Another major title is AION 2, an open-world MMORPG focusing on free flight across the sky, ground, and water in a world 36 times larger than its predecessor, offering three-dimensional exploration and aerial combat for both PvE and PvP players.
Additionally, players will see the launch of Gears of War: E-Day, a prequel set 14 years before the original Gears of War that follows Marcus Fenix and Dom during the emergence of the Locust horde. The Star Wars universe expands with a racing game focused on illegal circuits in the Outer Rim, where a lone racer named Shade competes in the Galactic League. Finally, Dragon's Dogma 2 introduces a new expansion pack featuring the northern region of Norgan, where players face harsh weather, blizzards, and new monsters while unraveling the mystery of the immortal dragon alongside a dragon-tracker named Eil.
