Paradox has revealed the upcoming content roadmap for Age of Wonders 4, detailing updates planned across the next six months. The fourth season pass is currently available for purchase at 49,99 EUR and immediately unlocks cosmetic items, a leader named Mael des choristes de la tempête, an exotic mount called the jument des mers des tempêtes, and a new society trait that enables the recruitment of aquatic units.
The new season kicks off on November 3 with The Silver Seas, a themed expansion focusing on maritime themes. Players can choose to lead a mercantile civilisation as smugglers operating a cartel or as a maritime barony controlling trade routes. The expansion introduces four new tomes of magic covering hydromancy, piracy, eternal ice, and damnation, alongside two new forms including amphibious humanoids and shark-men, plus various creatures, locations, and events.
Looking further ahead into 2027, the Court of the Archfey expansion is scheduled for the first quarter of 2027, introducing a fae civilisation centered around manipulating the cycle of seasons using charm and illusion magic. The season pass will conclude in the second quarter of 2027 with Forge of the Firstborn, which takes players underground to reclaim lost dwarf mines, utilize customisable golems, and employ new forging mechanics.
