Key information
On October 10, developer SmokingWOLF launched Game Asobita, a new web portal dedicated to games created with the WOLF RPG Editor. This platform allows users to play various titles directly within their web browsers, including notable works such as Katamichi Yuusha and Meguri Meguru.
The site supports both PC and smartphone browsers, effectively providing mobile access to many WOLF RPG Editor games. For smartphone users, some titles offer a download feature, enabling offline play if the creator has enabled this option. Users are encouraged to check individual game pages to confirm if downloading is supported for a specific title.
Players should be aware that save data is stored in the browser cache, which risks deletion through device changes or OS settings. To prevent data loss, the platform includes a backup function that allows users to download their save files locally. The site also features search tools to filter games by genre and estimated playtime.
Currently in a trial phase, Game Asobita is managed personally by SmokingWOLF. The developer noted that the service could be suspended in the future due to factors like server costs or maintenance burdens. While SmokingWOLF is currently developing Katamichi Yuusha 2, they intend to maintain the site as long as possible.
