Activision has reportedly initiated a DMCA takedown against unofficial browser-based ports of Call of Duty titles developed by Luckey Faraday. The developer announced on X that his projects were targeted for removal, resulting in all associated games being taken offline.

The affected projects included Claude of Duty: Vibe Slops II, which featured multiplayer matches on Hijacked and Nuketown 2025, and a solo-playable version of the Black Ops Zombies map Kino der Toten. These browser games utilized Three.js and were constructed using AI coding agents.

Faraday noted that the maps, models, and animations were exported directly from original PC versions of the games. Although the developer labeled these as non-commercial fan projects, the use of original assets likely contributed to the legal action taken by the publisher.

While the promotional posts and hosted games were removed, the Kino der Toten repository remained accessible on GitHub at the time of reporting. This enforcement follows recent industry actions, including a cease-and-desist sent by Take-Two regarding a GTA 5 Switch port.
