Key information

Sega has released a new art-focused commentary video for the upcoming action RPG Stupid Never Dies. This video is part of the DEEP BITE series, where developers discuss the game's unique features ahead of its scheduled launch on October 22, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam.

In the fourth installment of the series, producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi of GPTRACK50 explains the game's visual style. The design incorporates hand-drawn 3D aesthetics, monsters fused with over-technology, and stages reimagined from historical locations. Additionally, the user interface is specifically designed to reflect the perspective of the protagonist, Davy.

Stupid Never Dies is developed by GPTRACK50, a studio founded by Kobayashi featuring staff who worked on series like Devil May Cry and Dragon's Dogma. The game centers on a weak zombie named Davy who uses body hacking and style eating mechanics to grow rapidly and rescue the heroine, Julia.

A demo titled First Bite Demo, covering the first two hours of gameplay, is currently available on the PlayStation Store and Steam. Players can transfer their save data from this demo to the full version upon release. Sega is handling global publishing for the title.
