Key information
Nintendo has announced the upcoming opening of the Super Family Restaurant, a new dining facility located on the second floor of the second exhibition building at the Nintendo Museum. The restaurant is scheduled to open in November, offering visitors a space to reflect on their museum experience while enjoying themed meals.
The menu features creative dishes inspired by Nintendo's history, such as the red and green pasta reminiscent of Mario and Luigi. Guests can also order the Paku Paku Island, a large shared platter featuring main dishes like roast pork, sea bream-shaped taiyaki, chicken confit, and a bird's nest hamburger. Other options include a mountain-shaped chicken rice dish with demi-glace sauce and a chocolate banana cake designed for two to three people.
For younger visitors, the restaurant provides anお子さまプレートA, which includes a hamburger, omelet rice, and fried shrimp, served with a drink. Dessert and beverage options include a matcha shaved ice dish containing red bean paste and shiratama, as well as a matcha ice drink that allows guests to add milk to their preference.
Patrons who order drinks will receive a randomly selected coaster featuring designs of logos from Nintendo's historical gaming hardware. This new dining addition aims to immerse guests further into the company's legacy through culinary presentations.
