During the Gran Turismo World Series 2026 Round 3 event held in Singapore on October 3, 2026, series producer Kazunori Yamauchi and Xiaomi Auto's Jean-Arthur Madelaine announced that the Xiaomi Vision Gran Turismo will be added to Gran Turismo 7 for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 in mid-October 2026.
Xiaomi participates as the 36th brand in the Vision Gran Turismo project, marking the first time a Chinese brand and a technology company has joined the initiative. The concept model, initially revealed in February 2026, will be included in the major Spec IV update scheduled for October.
The vehicle's design follows the concept of being shaped by the wind, inheriting aerodynamic design philosophies from the Xiaomi SU7 and Xiaomi YU7. Additionally, the upcoming update will introduce the series' first-ever EV-exclusive driving lessons, utilizing both the Xiaomi VGT and the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra for players to learn electric vehicle driving.
