Key information
Electronic Arts and Battlefield Studios have officially launched Season 5 for Battlefield 6 and Battlefield Hazard Zone. This update introduces Phase 1, titled Siege of Las Vegas, which brings fresh content and teases a crossover event.
The update adds two new maps to the game. The first map transforms the Las Vegas Strip into a chaotic battlefield, while the second map moves the action away from the city lights to the outskirts of the secretive Area 51.
Phase 1 introduces a new Hazard Zone mode called Fast-Paced Battle Royale. This streamlined version of the battle royale format features fewer players and faster gameplay. Teams aim to be the last survivors, utilizing redeployment tokens earned through kills to return to the fight, though the required kill count for these tokens rises as the match progresses.
Additionally, a limited-time Dead Space event is scheduled to run from October 20 to November 7. This tribute will feature environments inspired by the 2023 remake and offer players unique cosmetic items to unlock.
