Key information
Nintendo has officially unveiled a promotional trailer for a full remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, specifically developed for the Nintendo Switch 2. This title reimagines the classic 1998 Nintendo 64 adventure with updated graphics and improved gameplay mechanics.
The footage highlights the core narrative involving Link's journey through time, featuring key characters such as Ganondorf and Sheik. It also demonstrates the mechanics of using the Ocarina, which remains central to the player's progression throughout the land of Hyrule.
A notable addition is the mysterious location known as the Manmaden, or Pandemonium. Within this area, players can view statues of previously defeated monsters, study their specific characteristics, and engage in rematches against formidable bosses encountered during the main quest.
The game is scheduled for release on November 5, 2026. Nintendo has set the price for the physical package version at 8,980 yen including tax, while the digital download version will be available for 7,980 yen including tax.
