Developer asraworks and publisher Assemble Entertainment have officially released Tower Tactics 2 into Steam Early Access. This sequel continues the series' blend of tower defense mechanics with Roguelike deckbuilding elements.
Players must defend against waves of enemies by strategically building and upgrading their decks. The game features over 190 cards, 150 trinkets, and five playable characters, allowing for diverse tactical combinations to manipulate the battlefield and defeat incoming threats.
The narrative follows Kaya and a new generation of heroes fighting to stop Sal'koth from plunging the universe into darkness. Before each run, users can customize their starting cards and trinkets, while utilizing an upgraded sanctuary to enhance their capabilities.
The title includes full controller support and is verified for Steam Deck. Additionally, players can design custom maps and share them via the Steam Workshop to challenge the community.
