Key information
Hamster Corporation announced that the simulation game The Drugstore will join the Console Archives series on October 15. Originally released by Human in 1998 for 32-bit home consoles, this title tasks players with managing a retail business to become the best drugstore.
Players must strategically expand their number of locations and accumulate capital to succeed. Management involves analyzing store locations, selecting product inventories, and understanding customer demographics. Additionally, employees may propose original products once they develop a close relationship with the manager.
The release includes standard Console Archives features designed to modernize the experience. Users can utilize button and screen customization options, as well as a save and load function available at any point during gameplay.
The Drugstore is available on Nintendo Switch 2 and PS5 for 800 yen including tax. This launch is part of the publisher's ongoing effort to bring classic home console titles to current hardware platforms.
