Developer Cybernetic Walrus has announced that its upcoming simulation game, Rip It! Card Collector, is scheduled for release on Steam on October 30. A free demo is currently available for players to experience the core mechanics of opening card packs and organizing collections.

The gameplay focuses on collecting over 1,800 unique cards, ranging from common to mythical rarities. Players utilize a retro-futuristic workstation to manage their collection, which involves tasks such as sorting, stacking, and cataloging cards into binders to achieve a sense of satisfaction.

Players can upgrade their initial manual setup into an efficient automated pipeline by selling duplicate cards and purchasing new equipment. The design emphasizes tactile feedback, featuring levers and switches that simulate the physical process of processing card packs through machinery.

The available demo features 369 collectible cards, including various finishes like gold and foil versions. It allows users to test the early stages of equipment progression, transitioning from manual pack opening to utilizing mechanical assistance before the full game launches later this month.
