Yostar or HyperGryph announced that the 3D real-time strategy RPG Arknights: Endfield will release its new version, Danqing Du, on October 15. The Steam version will also launch on the same day, supporting full cross-platform account data interoperability, and players can now add it to their wishlists.
The update introduces two new 6-star operators: the Cryo support operator Si, who weaves painting into combat and enhances elemental teammates, and the Electromagnetic Guard operator Minghe, who fights with spear, gun, and his mount Nuli. Both characters will debut through designated headhunting periods.
Players will explore the new main story map titled Si's Painting, utilize the new main questline, and experience the limited-time management event Fireworks Affinity, where administrators run a rural inn. Crisis Contract returns with the new Blue-Soaked Test Operation featuring optional risk metrics and enhanced enemy patterns.
Quality-of-life adjustments include equipment preset switching, middle-click crosshair locking, direct placement of field equipment using storage or materials without inventory transfer, and automated farming machines. The update music features contributions from composers such as Ludvig Forssell and Jinxi Zhai.
