Square Enix has announced that "Dragon Quest Weapons Collection Vol. 2" is scheduled for release on January 30, 2027. This product turns series equipment into collectible miniatures at an approximate scale of 1/12. Both the release date and the included equipment differ from Vol. 1, which was released in September 2026.
Selected for the second lineup are the Falcon Blade, Sword of Roto, Battle Axe, Gringham Whip, Staff of Thunder, and Shield of Roto. This assortment combines six types including axes, whips, staves, and shields in addition to swords, each with a display stand. They are planned to be manufactured in Japan.
The price including tax is 1,870 yen per piece, and 11,220 yen for a box of six. The specific type included cannot be chosen at the time of purchase. Because purchasing a box does not guarantee that all six types will be obtained, it must be distinguished from sets with a completion guarantee.
Sizes vary by equipment, ranging from about 53mm for the shield to about 124mm for the staff. The base is about 90mm, and this is not a product where weapons of the same size are lined up. Reservations are currently being accepted on the Square Enix e-STORE, and the photos shown are samples from the production stage.
