IO Interactive has released a free Extended Operations update for 007 First Light across all formats on Thursday, October 1. The new patch arrives as sales for the title surpass four million copies, introducing community-requested features alongside gameplay additions.
The update adds New Game Plus, which becomes available after completing the campaign on any difficulty setting. Players can restart the game or resume from checkpoints carrying over their unlocked gadgets and outfits. Additionally, a new 00 difficulty level increases enemy reaction speeds, adds tougher guard variants, and limits gadget usage when guards spot Bond, alongside two-hit kills and stricter parry and side-step timing.
Five new TacSim missions are included in the patch, featuring four Aston Martin Valhalla driving challenges set in the Slovakian mountains and a stealth-focused mission at The Pearl luxury resort in Vietnam. Furthermore, the update introduces Photo Mode, enhanced weapon-handling animation fidelity, and enemies capable of throwing Bond off ledges.
