Gameplay introduces a combat fidelity system that integrates ballistics, weapon motion, and audio. Bloom has been removed to ensure shots land exactly where aimed, placing emphasis on recoil control and player skill. Movement mechanics have been overhauled to allow organic transitions, such as mantle steering, supine slides, and hang-leaning, providing players with greater control during combat.
Multiplayer launches with 12 core 6v6 maps and new modes like Hijack, Inflation, and Arms Deal. The DMZ extraction mode, set in the Hajin control zone, focuses on recovering military technology. Players utilize a Forward Operating Base to craft gear, upgrade facilities, and develop permanent operator traits, while navigating threats like bosses and other players in a persistent environment.
