On 14, ONE Store announced a comprehensive overhaul of its user benefit system with the introduction of a new reward program called ONEdia. This initiative replaces the previous ONE Store Point Plus system to provide enhanced incentives for its users.
ONEdia functions as a digital currency that users can earn through various promotional activities within the ONE Store application. Once accumulated, these rewards can be applied as discounts when purchasing games or applications on the platform.
A key feature of the new system is its flexibility, as ONEdia can be used in conjunction with existing discount coupons. Starting in early November, the platform will also integrate ONEdia into its One Quest service, which rewards users for completing specific tasks like installing designated games.
CEO Jang Hyun-guk described ONEdia as a gamified currency for the platform, intended to become a staple of the user experience. Moving forward, the company plans to expand earning and usage paths while collaborating with game developers to further increase benefits for the community.
