Sony has introduced a LEGO set commemorating the 30th anniversary of the original PlayStation console. This commemorative product features a near 1-to-1 scale replica of the classic hardware, designed to honor the legacy of the system that debuted over three decades ago.

The set consists of 1,911 pieces and measures 26cm in width. Beyond the exterior shell, the model includes functional elements such as an operational open button and a controller that can be connected to the console. Hidden within the build are dioramas representing iconic titles like Gran Turismo and Ape Escape, which users can remove for separate display.

GameMeca staff reported that assembling the model required approximately 6 hours of work. The reviewers expressed admiration for the high level of detail achieved in the final construction of the replica.

Following the 2024 announcement, the product became available for purchase through official LEGO stores starting October 4. This release serves as part of a broader series of limited-edition items launched by Sony to mark the milestone anniversary.
