On October 14, 2026, Microsoft unveiled the XBOX Nano Controller, a new wireless gamepad designed for the XBOX brand. The company markets this device as the smallest controller in XBOX history.
The controller features a significantly smaller form factor compared to the standard XBOX Wireless Controller. While specific dimensions remain unconfirmed, the width measures slightly over 12.7 cm, with a depth roughly half that of the standard model. It weighs approximately 99g.
Connectivity options include Bluetooth and Microsoft's proprietary XBOX wireless protocol. Although the device incorporates a USB Type-C port for charging, the manufacturer has not clarified if this port supports wired gameplay.
The controller is compatible with Windows 11/10 PCs, XBOX Series X|S, XBOX One, iOS, and Android devices. Pre-orders are currently open with a retail price of 8000 yen including tax.
