Blizzard has confirmed that the Burning Crusade Anniversary will progress to Phase 3.5 on October 22nd. This update introduces the Zul’Aman raid, a 10-player challenge located in the Eastern Kingdoms near the Ghostlands.
The developer describes the raid as an Amani stronghold that dares adventurers to enter its borders. Players who successfully complete the content have the opportunity to earn the Amani War Bear mount.
As the Burning Crusade cycle nears its conclusion, Blizzard has implemented several adjustments to streamline gameplay. These changes include removing attunement requirements for the Black Temple and Battle for Mount Hyjal, alongside shifting heroic dungeons to their final, reduced difficulty settings.
While this update provides specific content for the anniversary, the broader future of WoW Classic remains uncertain. Blizzard has not yet provided official long-term plans for the game following the lack of announcements at BlizzCon.
