Manga author Yoshihiro Togashi has announced through his Twitter account that he will no longer accept outside commissions with delivery deadlines, citing accumulated physical and mental health issues. While the creator previously worked on special commissioned tasks such as promotional images, birthday drawings for other authors, and drafts for Jump, these projects have now come to an end.

Moving forward, Togashi intends to prioritize his own health and his long-running Shonen Jump series, Hunter x Hunter, with the ultimate goal of finishing the work. He confirmed that the commission he is currently handling will be his absolute last, and he will reject any future projects tied to deadlines in order to concentrate on his own manuscripts.

The author stated that he will make another announcement on Twitter when he resumes creating his personal manuscripts. Meanwhile, the manga entered another indefinite hiatus a few weeks ago, and this ongoing break is expected to cause further delays for the upcoming batches of episodes.
