Capcom has officially confirmed that an early access demo for the hunting action title Monster Hunter Wilds will be released for the Nintendo Switch 2 on October 20.
This trial version allows players to experience the opening segments of the game, including character creation and the initial story, with content identical to the final product. Users will be able to carry over their save data to the full game, which is scheduled for release on December 4.
The demo introduces local wireless multiplayer, a feature specific to the Switch 2 version. However, Capcom notes that online multiplayer functionality will not be available during this trial period.
Pre-orders for the full version of Monster Hunter Wilds are currently open, with digital editions available for purchase ahead of the December launch.
