Nintendo has showcased a limited edition Switch 2 console celebrating the 40th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda. Spotted at a recent press event, this collector's item features intricate pixel-art designs and premium finishes.
The console features an asymmetrical design with a dark green left Joy-Con displaying Link with the Triforce, while the right Joy-Con features a retro sprite of Princess Zelda. The joysticks are finished in gold, and the dock combines a black top with Triforce motifs and a gold base.
A themed Switch 2 Pro Controller is also available, featuring a color scheme of black, gold, and green. The green accents extend across the top, triggers, and the entire back of the controller.
The console and controller are scheduled for release on October 29. While initial pre-orders from September sold out quickly, Nintendo has confirmed that additional stock will be available on the launch day, though high demand is expected.
